ZTE Blade V8 Lite might release soon, gets certified by WiFi alliance

ZTE recently announced the ZTE Blade V8 at CES 2017 with low-end phone specifications such as Snapdragon 435 processor, 2GB/3GB RAM and a 5.2-inch 1080p display. However, the Chinese manufacturer might have another variant of the device in the making called ZTE Blade V8 Lite.

Spotted online in a certificate issued by WiFi Alliance, the ZTE Blade V8 Lite will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, just like the Blade V8 will do.

Since the ZTE Blade V8 already features low-end hardware, we wonder what’s ZTE planning for the Blade V8 Lite. Based on the previous generation models, the ZTE Blade V8 Lite could feature a 5.0-inch display with a display resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, and might also feature 5MP camera on the front as compared to 8MP camera on the Blade V8.

Also, the ZTE Blade V8 Lite might not feature a fingerprint scanner on the back like the Blade V8 does.

Other specs for the Blade V8 Lite should remain similar to Blade V8, which includes SD 435 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and Dual SIM support.
