ZTE Blade V7 Plus is now official

ZTE Blade V7 Plus

Almost a year and a half later the official announcement of the ZTE V7 and V7 Lite, the company has now unveiled the ZTE V7 Plus.

It’s pretty clear from the name itself that the V7 Plus is an upgraded version of the standard V7 with a couple of new features (obviously).

The smartphone now has a fingerprint scanner on the back just below the 13MP camera module as you can see from the image above.

The smartphone still has a 5.2-inch Full HD display akin to the original Blade V7. What’s disappointing though is the presence of now obsolete MediaTek MT6753 chipset.

There’s 2GB of RAM and 16GB of RAM to go along with the chipset and runs the outdated Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box. Also, at 2,540mAh, the V7 Plus has a slightly bigger battery in comparison to last year’s Blade V7.

The smartphone comes in two colors: Platinum Grey and Ion Gold and is already up for grabs in Australia and Russia.
