ZTE just announced the company’s latest premium budget phone targeted at the young generation, the ZTE Blade S6. The device is priced reasonably at $250 and it gets you the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop software with LTE among other performing hardware specs.
The ZTE Blade S6 specs include a 5 inch 720p display, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB RAM and 2400 mAh battery. The device packs a Sony IMX214 13MP camera on the back and 5MP on the front. Interestingly, Blade S6 also comes with “HiFi sound” for enhanced music experience.
The device runs on ZTE’s own Lollipop based custom OS MiFavor 3 which gives you a number customization options, but we wouldn’t bet on its performance. Custom OSs from OEMs often end-up slowing down the device, even when it’s power packed.
ZTE hasn’t opened up on availability of the device yet, all that we know is that the Blade S6 will go on sale for $250 and will ship globally via AliExpress, and from Amazon and eBay in some selected regions.
