The ZTE blade A2 might be getting its impending Marshmallow update very soon as the device was just spotted being tested on popular benchmarking software, GFXBench.
It’s a rather disappointing fact considering that the device, which was released in the June of 2016 is still awaiting for the marshmallow update.
Taking in account of the slow roll out of updates by the company and the device being a mid range one, the chances of the Blade A2 being updated to Nougat is almost slim to none.
The ZTE Blade A2 features a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS 2.5D display. It is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek MT6750 clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB storage on board and it supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). The device was launched with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
