ZTE has launched a powerful Blade A2 Plus smartphone in India today priced at Rs 11,999. Powerful because it houses a massive 5,000mAH battery, which is definitely the main highlight of the phone.

True to the video teaser ZTE flashed a couple of days back hinting at the launch of a ‘beauty meets power’ phone, the new ZTE device packs in an all-metal body and 2.5D curved display with the impressive battery which is claimed to offer up to two days of usage on single charge. Another attractive feature is the the Pump Express technology, which helps the battery charge from zero to almost full in less than an hour.

Other features include 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB of expandable memory, 13-megapixel camera rear camera with PDAF/dualLED flash and 8-megapixel selfie snapper. On the software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow. It houses a rear fingerprint scanner and and supports 4G LTE connectivity.

The ZTE Blade A2 Plus goes on sale on February 5 exclusively via Flipkart in two color options- Gold and Gray.

Lookwise the phone is impressive considering the price tag and performance wise too the specsheet looks decent, except for the Marshmallow based OS.
