One of the biggest problems with many Android phones is that they don’t get speedy software updates. What’s even worse, though, is that some of them never get any software updates — nope, not even a single OS upgrade. One such device is the YU Yuphoria.
The smartphone has been running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop ever since it was launched back in 2015. But, thanks to LineageOS 15.0 custom ROM, Yu Yuphoria users can install the latest and greatest Android OS, the Oreo.

All you have to do is install TWRP recovery on your Yuphoria and then install the Android 8.0 Oreo-based LineageOS 15.0 custom ROM which you can download from the link provided below.

It’s, however, worth pointing out that the LineageOS build is not officially available from the original source just yet. You’ll be able to utilize all the Oreo features including the picture-in-picture mode, improved doze mode, notification channels, and the like, nevertheless.
