What to know

  • YouTube Music is testing a new feature allowing users to create radio stations from multiple songs in Quick picks.
  • The feature aims to enhance personalization and music discovery for users. Currently, the feature is in experimental stages and not widely available

YouTube Music is reportedly testing a new feature that could allows users to select multiple songs from the Quick picks section to generate a custom radio station.

Currently, YouTube Music’s Quick picks section offers users a selection of songs based on their listening history and preferences. Users can start a radio station based on a single song from this section. However, the new feature under testing would expand this capability, allowing users to choose multiple songs as the basis for a radio station.

From the looks of it, you’ll be able to tap on the icon next to your Quick pick songs, and then tap on Start radio to get started.

This update aims to provide users with more control over their listening experience and improve music discovery. By selecting multiple songs, users could potentially create more diverse and tailored radio stations that better reflect their musical tastes.

It’s important to note that this feature is still in the experimental phase. YouTube Music often tests new features with a limited number of users before deciding whether to roll them out more widely. As such, most users will not have access to this feature at present.

As always, users are encouraged to keep their YouTube Music app updated to ensure they have access to the latest features as they become available.
