YouTube Music gains option to save songs, albums, and playlists for offline listening

YouTube Red has a feature which allows users o listen to music offline. However, this feature comes with a price as YouTube Red is available on subscription only and users are required to pay a monthly fee. But what if this paid feature is made available free of cost? Sounds good, isn’t it? Well, that happens now.

YouTube Music has been updated to get a new feature which allows users to listen to music offline. Not only this, they can also save songs, albums, and playlists for offline listening.

The latest updated version of YouTube Music can be grabbed at Google Play Store. If you already have the updated version, tap on the Menu icon which is marked by three dots, and select Save Offline. This will save music for offline listening.

When you perform this action, a pop-up will appear, asking if you want to save just the audio, SD video, or HD video. The Menu Icon is situated next to any song, playlist, or album. Once the file has been saved, you can access them offline by tapping on your profile photo and selecting Offline mode. iOS users need to bear in mind that swiping left on a song in a playlist will make it available Offline.
