Sony Xperia XZ Premium, which was launched at this year’s Mobile World Congress, is now available for pre-order in India. The device is being sold exclusively via the E-com giant, Amazon India and is available in two colors of deep sea black and luminous chrome.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium (Dual SIM) will be released on June 12, 2017, and is available for INR 59,990.00 ($931). As a matter of interest, India becomes the sixth country, after UK, Germany, Austria, Malaysia and South Korea, where Sony Xperia XZ Premium is up for grabs.
However, it’s really disappointing that Sony has priced the device at $931 which is a lot more than other countries. The device is available for $728 in the UK, $794.81 in Malaysia, and $772 in South Korea.
Anyway, to lure customers, Sony Xperia XZ Premium comes with a cool pre-booking offer. If you pre-order before June 11th, you will get Wireless Bluetooth Speakers Sony SRS-XB20 worth Rs. 8,990, free along with the phone. The other offers which are valid otherwise as well, include a quick charger, 3 months Sony LIV subscription and 5200 in-Game Credits for the game, Play Modern Combat 5.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium is IP68 certified water and dust resistant and flaunts world’s first 4K HDR Display of 5.46-inch. It packs 4GB RAM/64GB internal memory and Snapdragon 835 processor powers the device. In the camera area, Xperia XZ Premium features 13MP camera at the front with Motion Eye Camera and a 19MP camera at the back.
