Google has been silently working on a brand new OS called Fuchsia, which can run on all kinds of platforms such as mobile phones, computers, and tablets. There hasn’t been a way to try out the OS unless you had the Acer Switch Alpha 12 and the Intel NUC. Now, you can try out Fuchsia on the latest Google Pixelbook.
Recently, Google added a new page on Github that explains how to install the Fuchsia OS on the Pixelbook. The Pixelbook is a high-end laptop/tablet and being able to run Fuchsia on it means that the OS is also meant for high-end laptops. This also means that Google has been testing out the OS, on the Pixelbook, internally.

So, if you want to try out this Open-source OS, you can now do so on your Pixelbook. The instructions are easy to follow and require the Pixelbook to be entered into developer mode. Once the device is in Developer mode, you can install Fuchsia from a USB device.
Do you own a Google Pixelbook? If so, would you be open to trying out the Fuchsia OS? Remember, installing the OS will wipe all data from your laptop.
