Xiaomi — which has been steadily making waves in the international market — is gearing up for the launch of a bunch of new products come March the 31st. . The company which launched a 40-inch full-HD variant of the Mi Tv yesterday is getting ready to take on all comers as it possibly gets ready to unveil its first smartwatch.
Yes sir, from what we hear, the watch — which may be called the Mi watch, no surprises there — may see the daylight this March end. The metal cased watch is expected to sport a circular dial and come with the pulse velocity recognition feature.
And that’s not all, apparently after already launching its Mi Note flagship for this year along with the entry level Redmi 2, the company is getting ready to launch yet another device. The phone which is expected to come in the mid range may come with a 4.9-inch FHD display. Inside, we could see a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 SoC using 2GB of RAM. The whole package will run on a brand new Android 5.0.2. Lollipop based MIUI interface. Again, in keeping with Xiaomi’s tradition of multiple pixels we have a 12 MP rear and a 4.8 MP front shooter.
Well, what with launching one successful device after another and having expanded into the tablet market as well with its Mi Pad, the Chinese manufacturer after rapidly gaining ground in India and other markets seems to be sporting global ambitions as it introduces one device after another, and judging by the enthusiasm with which consumers receive everything the company dishes out, others in the smartphone race would do well to pick up their boots.
Well, stick around people as we bring you more leaks and rumors before covering the actual Xiaomi event on the 31st.
