Xiaomi has a new offering for its fans in Malaysia. Albeit not in the form of an entirely new product, but in the form of a new variant of an available product. Xiaomi’s budget offering, the Redmi 4A, is now available in a 32GB variant in the country.
Launched today, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A 32GB can be yours at a cost of RM 509. Those interested in buying one can head to Lazada.com where it is being offered in two color options- Gold and Grey.
Xiaomi released this budget phone last year in November with quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz. The processor is paired with Adreno 308 GPU. The phone packs in 2GB RAM.
The Redmi 4A sports a matte metal body with 5-inch HD display. On the imaging front we find a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper on board. Power comes courtesy a 3120 mAh battery. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top.

Xiaomi has held on to the reputation of churning out phones which are more than worth their price. And Redmi 4A holds on to the tradition. At the given price, the mentioned specsheet is a blind taker. The only undoing is the Marshmallow OS. But then, isn’t expecting a Nougat for the said price a way too much asking for?
