Xiaomi Redmi 4A 32GB launching in Malaysia on 18th March, priced RM 590

Xiaomi will be soon be officially launching a new variant of its budget smartphone Redmi 4A in Malaysia. Come March 18th, Xiaomi fans in the country can now grab a 32GB variant of Redmi 4A by shelling out RM 590.

Notably, Xiaomi Redmi 4A 16GB has already been officially launched in Malaysia. Now, the Chinese OEM will be presenting Redmi 4A in a new 32GB version giving Xiaomi users more native space to save all their favorite stuff. The announcement was made by Xioami by its official Twitter account of Mi Malaysia.

Launched last year in November, Redmi 4A can be the perfect choice for those who do not want to empty their pockets for a smartphone. Powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with and MIUI 8 OS paired with Adreno 308 GPU, the phone packs in 2GB RAM.

The dual-SIM phone sports a matte metal body with 5-inch HD display. The lights are kept on by a 3120 mAh high capacity battery. There’s a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter on board. The Redmi 4A runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and given Xiaomi’s reputation in pushing updates, the Nougat update for this phone seems highly unlikely.
