Xiaomi has been called the Apple of China for many things, and the company’s latest device seems to make that alias for Xiaomi more suitable. Xiaomi is reportedly making a successor to its Mi4 device and it’ll be called Mi4S, a naming scheme that’s very common for Apple’s iPhones.
As per the source, GizmoChina, the Mi4S is the device Xiaomi has been touting as “thinner than the cicada’s wings”. And looking at the leaked 3D renders, we wouldn’t doubt it either. It does look very slim.
Xiaomi Mi4S specs have also been rumored along with the 3D renders. The device reported to have 5.5 inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM and 16MP/8MP camera setup.
However, only a few days earlier we received the word that Xiaomi will be launching the company’s next flagship, Mi5, on 15th January. But now with this leak, which suggests the name of the device to be “Mi4S”, we’d put all the speculations on hold and just wait for the official announcement of device from Xiaomi’s on January 15th’s event.
