Xiaomi is currently working on releasing Android Nougat updates for more of their devices. The Xiaomi Mi4C, Xiaomi Mi4S, Xiaomi Mi Note and Xiaomi Mi Max will soon get the Android 7.0 update, according to a company representative.

Although the Weibo message says Xiaomi Mi Note, we believe it’s the Mi Note 2 that guy is talking about about because Mi Note is quite old device — although we’d love to see it receive Android 7.0 update, but would come to believe it only when it actually happens. All other devices are 2016 releases, except the Mi4c, which dates back to September 2015. Still, Mi Note, released back in January 2015 is very old from Xiaomi’s update compatibility standards.

So far, only the Xiaomi Mi5 has received an official Nougat update and that was released just last week. The Mi5 also got the latest Android 7.1.1 update thanks to CyanogenMod 14. Now we know which Xiaomi devices are next in line to receive Nougat sweetness.

There is no exact ETA on when the updates will be available for the said devices, but we can expect them to arrive in Q1 2017. Other Xiaomi devices to get the update include, Mi 5S, Mi Note 2, Mi Mix. There was no mention of when or if the Redmi series would get the Nougat update.
