The folks over at the official MIUI forums have just revealed that the Xiaomi Mi Mix Nougat update will be coming soon. The update will be based on MIUI 8, which the already runs but on a Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow base.
The Mi Mix nougat update will be released as beta first for anyone willing test the update for any bugs/issues before the company makes it public. As per the report, the Android 7.0 Nougat based beta builds of the update will be coming very soon for the device.
Earlier this month, Xiaomi released Android 7.0 Nougat for update the Mi 5. The Mi Mix will be the second device to get Nougat update from the manufacturer. Notably, Xiaomi has a lot more devices to push the Nougat update too.
