Xiaomi has a new MIUI update for the Mi Max 2 that brings the software version to MIUI 10, the stable build. The device has had access to the beta program for quite some time now and it comes as no surprise the update is now available as a stable version.
However, what many will still be begging answers from Xiaomi is the Android OS version, which has yet to switch to the newer Android Oreo. Of course, we still expect an update to Oreo to arrive before the end of 2018, even if it’s just the beta version.

Before then, the MIUI 10 stable update is here, bringing along full-screen experience, gestures for navigation, nature-inspired sounds, and so on. We still don’t have a download file for manual installation, so you’ll have to wait for the OTA update to arrive, which may take a few days.
Also, it’s worth noting that this OTA update will only show up on Mi Max 2 devices currently installed with the stable MIUI 9. As for those using the latest MIUI 10 beta 8.11.8, well, another beta update is almost here.
