Xiaomi recently announced a special edition of the Mi A1 clad in an all red metal body for India. The Xiaomi Mi 5X, which is the Chinese version of the phone, received the red treatment in October.
If you would like to own the Special Edition Red Mi A1 from Xiaomi, then you’ll be able to buy one in India tomorrow. The sale will start December 20 at 12 PM on the official Mi India website. The price of the phone has been reduced to INR 12,999.

The phone will also be available online at Flipkart at the same price. There aren’t differences between this and the regular Mi A1, except for the striking red color. It comes with a Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 5.5-inch 1080p display, dual rear cameras, and a 3080mAh battery.

As you may already know, this phone is part of Android One, which means it is supposed to get newer OS updates faster than other devices. The Android 8.0 Oreo beta test for the phone has already begun. The first beta started rolling out recently and is available for all those who took part in the beta program.
