Xiaomi Mi 8 in Russia are getting a new update in the form of MIUI 10.0.13. This is a stable update, which is still based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

If you don’t wish to bother with downloading and installing manually, you can always wait for the OTA. Just keep in mind that it might take a few days before the new build will reach your device.
Now, Xiaomi has already released the Android 9 Pie stable update (with MIUI 10 on top) for the global Mi 8 version. However, Mi 8 owners in Russia might have to wait a few more weeks before being subjected to the same treatment.
