Expanding the base of Xiaomi Mi 6, the Chinese OEM has planned to release this flagship product in Singapore soon. Mi 6 was launched in April and has been made available in China, Russia and few other regions.
Xiaomi Singapore has teased the launch of a product soon, which we believe is Xiaomi Mi 6. The teaser shows dual camera lens with the caption Picture Perfect.
Earlier this month we reported that this flagship phone is inching closer to its global launch as it got listed on Xiaomi’s global website. Seems the time has arrived. Although an exact time-frame has not been mentioned for the Singapore launch, this should be sooner rather than later.
Xiaomi Mi 6 sports 5.15 inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at 2.45GHz with Adreno 540 GPU.
Xiaomi Mi 6 comes in two editions – Glass and Ceramic. The Mi 6 Glass edition again comes in two storage variants with 6GB RAM+64GB ROM and 6GB RAM+128GB ROM while the Mi 6 Ceramic is available in only one variant with 6GB RAM intact and 128GB in-built storage.
Another highlight of the phone is its dual rear cameras of 12MP+12MP resolution. One camera is a wide-angle lens while the other camera is a telephoto lens that provides 2X loss-less zoom. Up front there’s an 8MP selfie snapper. The Mi 6 was released with Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 8 custom skin underneath and rocks an underglass fingerprint scanner.
