Gone are the days when flagship smartphones were meant to be released in only standard selected colors. The companies are now experimenting on the color front. While LG launched G6 in White, Black and Platinum colors, Samsung went over the top to release Galaxy S8 and S8+ in five colors viz Midnight Black, Arctic Silver, Coral Blue, Orchid Gray and Maple Gold. And if you thought that was all the colors that could be brought to a flagship phone, wait till you hear this. Xiaomi Mi 6, the recently launched flagship smartphone, will be sold in 11 color options. Yes, you read that right.

Xiaomi Mi 6 has appeared on Chinese certification site TENAA which shows the phone in 11 colors. Now, we have seen black, white, blue, and silver colors announced during the Mi 6 launch on April 19th.

The other seven unannounced colors are gold, gray, pink, champagne gold, dark gray, cherry blossom, and frosted black, which are likely to be China exclusive. And even out of these, some colors might be sold as limited editions. Nevertheless, seeing a flagship phone painted in some unusual colors such as cherry blossom and pink is a refreshing change.

Xiaomi released Mi6 in two editions — one being the Glass edition and the other with a Ceramic body. While the Glass Mi6 comes in two storage variants with 6GB RAM+64GB ROM and 6GB RAM+128GB ROM, the Mi6 Ceramic will be available in only one variant with 6GB RAM intact and 128GB in-built storage.
