It is likely speculated that the Chinese firm will be launching a new premium smartphone with a pocketable form factor in the coming weeks or months. Going by the rumors from China, Xiaomi might launch the Mi 5 and Mi 5 Plus flagship smartphones. Both the smartphones are claimed to be launched in July that will mark a year since the launch of its current flagship Mi 4.
As per the ongoing rumors and speculations, the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be boasting of a 5.2 inch display and a Snapdragon 810 SoC as the other flagship smartphones that are launched lately.
The device is said to come with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM for efficient multitasking, 16 MP main snapper and a 3,000 mAh battery. Lately, there were reports that the Mi 5 might arrive with a fingerprint sensor incorporated in it.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus, on the other hand, is claimed to pack 32 GB of native storage space and 4 GB of RAM. It is likely to come with a 16 MP main snapper with optical image stabilization and feature a bezel-less design.
