We are approaching the end of the week and it’s that time again that Xiaomi is seeding another MIUI 10 beta update and as usual, we already have an early look into what the update brings.
Xiaomi’s beta program must be one of the most active in the world of Android. The company sends out weekly updates to those using MIUI 10 beta – updates that bring along fixes to bugs and improve the overall stability of the unfinished software. The latest version MIUI 10 8.9.13 isn’t different, where the changelog preview notes that cases where some apps weren’t showing in the notification panel have now been dealt with.

The update is also expected to iron out the few remaining bugs as the company gears towards rolling out the stable version. In China, the stable MIUI 10 update is already available for multiple devices and we recently saw the first global release targeting the Redmi Y2, which is also sold in some markets as the Redmi S2.

It’s likely that this update will also bump several devices’ security patch levels to August 2018, although this is not the latest version in town. The full changelog and download links for manual installation will be published on Friday, but the OTA rollout will begin tomorrow, September 13th.
