WhatsApp, the popular messaging app, is working on a new way for you to customize your chats – personalized chat themes.
As per wabetainfo, who found it on the WhatsApp beta for iOS (v 24.17.10.71),, the option will give users more control over the visual appearance of their conversations.
When applied, you can change the look of individual chats so they can easily be recognized. These chat-specific themes will override the default WhatsApp theme, creating a unique look for each selected chat.
To help users make informed choices, WhatsApp will include a preview function for users to see how the message colors will appear before applying a theme to a particular chat. Theme selection for chats is completely private, so you won’t have to worry about others knowing about it.
Since chat themes are still being tested, it may be a few days, if not weeks, before they arrive on a stable build.
