Alcatel’s A5 LED is now available for purchase at Vodafone UK. You can grab it by shelling out £99 upfront excluding the monthly cost.
To recall, the A5 LED was first revealed during the MWC 2017 alongside a couple of other handsets and has been made available for purchase only recently.
Moving ahead, the Alcatel A5 LED, as its name itself suggests, has the back panel covered with LED lights which light up when you receive a notification or even while playing music.
Even better, it’s customizable. Yes, you can program the LED panel to make it respond in the way you want it to.

As for the specs, the Alcatel A5 LED rocks a 5.2-inch HD IPS display at the front. There’s an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset under-the-hood.
In terms of memory, the smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage space. There’s an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter to take care of imaging.
Sadly, though, the smartphone still runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. A 2,800mAh battery provides the fuel for the device.
