Unless you just came out of a cave, you should know all about Vivo and the in-display fingerprint scanning technology. The Chinese company beat major names in the smartphone industry to the tech and so far, it has already unveiled a device with this feature in Vivo X20 Plus UD.
Apparently, the OEM is lining up another device to showcase its currently-exclusive in-display fingerprint scanning technology. Although we still don’t know much about this phone, we have images of the phone in real life, suggesting that the official launch could be around the corner.
From the leaked image, the unknown Vivo phone is set to be a true bezel-less handset, even without a notch like the iPhone X or the upcoming Huawei P20 series. The image looks a lot like an alleged Vivo Xplay 7 that appeared online earlier this month, showing off what would be a surprisingly high screen-to-body ratio.
Of course, the lack of a notch at the top means there’s a tiny bezel on the bottom that will possibly house the selfie camera. Although the image doesn’t give us a peek at the back panel, it’s almost certain that the mysterious Vivo phone will follow in the footsteps of the X20 Plus UD in terms of biometrics.
Whether this is the upcoming Vivo phone that is rumored to rock a massive 4K display resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and 256/512GB storage is still unknown, but it’s beginning to look like it.
