As announced on its official Weibo account, Vivo is all set to launch X9 today, November 16. Prior to the launch, however, the images of the devices leaked on the web. In Full. You have the packaging box, the accessories, and whole new bunch of the Vivo X9 in action, along with UI shots.
The device has an all-metal body as was the case from X7 with Gorilla Glass 5. The screen comes with narrow 1,59mm bezels on the sides, which even though not curvy, looks pretty good.
However, the major attraction is going to be the dual camera in the front, which major OEMs have started to employ in the rear. The cameras are going to be of 20 MP and 8MP. But because it is selfie-centric, there is going to be only one camera in the rear, with LED flash.
The Vivo X9 houses Snapdragon 653 processor and 4/6 GB of RAM.
If you were in the market for a pretty-perfect selfie capture machine, the Vivo is just made for you. It’s reasonable power packed, and doesn’t cost you too much, but the only letdown could be the software updates, as found out in our Vivo Nougat and Marshmallow update page, where Vivo scores very badly. But hey, do you really care about updates, that much?
