Vivo seems to be working on a variant of the X5Max with a thickness of 7.29 mm called X5Max s. Though the thickness of this device will not match the 4.75 mm thin profile of the X5Max, it seems like the additional thickness will accommodate a 4,150 mAh battery in the device.
Notably, the battery in the slimmest smartphone X5Max is a 2,000 mAh unit. This makes it clear that the X5Max s is a powerhouse that can last for over a day even on intense usage.
Talking of the design, the X5Max s seems to feature a similar design as the X5Max with a dual tone metal build. The device is likely to arrive with a 5.5 inch display with Full HD 1080p resolution and an octa core MediaTek MT6752 processor with 2 GB of RAM.
The smartphone in question is listed to pack 16 GB of native storage space that can be expanded further up to 128 GB. It features a 13 MP main snapper and a 5 MP front facer. The other aspects of the device include dual SIM dual standby and 4G LTE support.
The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo will be taking the wraps off its upcoming Vivo X5Pro smartphone boasting a 32 MP snapper at the front with retina scanner and Type C USB port on May 13. May be, we can expect the X5 Max s getting launched at the same time.
