Vivo has gained a lot of attention for having the world’s slimmest handset on the planet – Vivo X5Max, which was wrapped off in December 2014. However, it seems the company is working on a bit more affordable and better version of the device which is Vivo X5Max+.
According to Tenna website, the new version will be a little thicker at 5.1 mm and weighs 153 g. Its thinner brother Vivo X5 Max was only 146g. The Vivo X5Max+ is said to be powered by a more energy-efficient eight-core MediaTek MT6752 processor which can improve its 2000mAh battery life.
Other features may be same as that of its thinner model which offers a 5.5-inch 1080p superAMOLED screen paired with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage (expandable up to 128 via Micro SD card slot). The new version also has well-endowed camera features. It includes a 13.0MP rear camera with auto-focus, LED flash and a 5.0MP front camera. The device will be run Android 4.4.4 KitKat topped off with FunTouch OS 2.0. It also supports both 3G and 4G networks.
