Vivo X20 and X20 Plus launched in China with 24MP front camera and Snapdragon 660 SoC

As expected, Vivo has finally launched the Vivo X20 and X20 Plus in China. The two devices are the successors of Vivo X9 and X9s Plus. Yup, there is no Vivo X10 or anything between Vivo X9 or X19, Vivo has directly jumped to X20.

While both the X20 and X20 Plus come with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio, Vivo X20 features 6.1-inch Super AMOLED display and Vivo X20 Plus features 6.43-inch display.

Inside, both the smartphones are powered by 4GB of RAM and Snapdragon 660. The device will come in two variants of 64GB/128GB memory.

Again, while both the X20 and X20 Plus flaunt dual rear camera of 24MP +5MP and 24MP selfie camera, the X20 Plus features an upgraded camera with multi-axis optical image stabilization and ultra-thin OIS motor.

The smartphone is powered by Android 7.1.1 Nougat with FunTouch OS running on top. Further, a 3,245mAh battery backs up the device. While the fingerprint sensor is located on the rear panel, the device also features face recognition, which Vivo calls as Face Wake.

Both the variants will be available in three color options: Rose Gold/Pink, Gold and Matte Black.

  • Vivo X20 (64GB): RMB 2,998 (~Rs 30,000)
  • Vivo X20 (128GB): RMB 3,398 (~Rs 34,000)
  • Vivo X20 Plus: RMB 3,498 (~Rs 35,000)
