Vivo’s recently unveiled V5s Black Edition is now up for pre-orders in Malaysia.
DirectD is throwing in a couple of free gifts for folks who pre-order the handset. The first gift comes in the form of a Vivo V5s gift box while the second gift gets you a Hotel voucher worth RM500 for 3 Days and 2 Nights (for two).
The handset is priced at RM 1,299 on DirectD. Currently, the pre-order option is available only for walk-in customers. So, make sure you visit the brick and mortar store if you are planning to purchase the Vivo V5s Black Edition.
As for the specs, there’s a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chipset under-the-hood which is hooked to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

The Vivo V5s comes with a 5.5-inch HD display. There’s a 16MP rear camera and a 20MP front-facing camera. It runs Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
HTC’s U11 has also been listed on DirectD suggesting that it will be made available soon. Malaysia will get the 6GB RAM variant in case you are wondering.
