As we reported earlier, the March security patch is very well rolling out for the international units of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, but the Verizon S9 sets are also receiving a bug fixer update while retaining the February patch.
Dubbed as software version G960USQU1ARBG for the Galaxy S9, and G965USQU1ARBG for the S9 Plus, the update is now rolling out as an OTA. The ARBG should be available for Verizon S9 sets in next few days.
The update fixes the issues with camera app where it might not respond to touch, or not launch as it should. Besides that, the update also fixes the issue where Android Pay wouldn’t properly, while also connecting the Bluetooth performance of the devices. Lastly, if you had any issues with Face Unlock not working alright, this update should fix that too.
To update your Verizon Galaxy S9, open up the Settings app, find System updates, and then check for system updates. Make sure the device is charged at least 20%.
