With the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 2 already available to T-Mobile customers, the focus now shifts to the other big carriers in the US. Verizon Wireless has started accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 2 on its website, and is offering the newest phablet  in town for a price of $299 with a 2 year contract. If you don’t want to be tied down to a contract, the price goes up to a hefty $649 – same as with T-Mobile.

As with TMO, Verizon is also offering two colors – Marble White and Titanium Gray. The ship-by date is listed as November 27th, which is a pretty long wait, considering Tmo customers are already walking around with the Galaxy Note 2 since yesterday. But that’s just how it is, and Verizon customers will have to bide some more time to fulfill their N0te 2 fantasies.

The price seems to be pretty good, in comparison to T-Mobile’s $370 with the same two year contract, if don’t mind having to wait longer.  The Galaxy Note 2 sports a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 2GB RAM, 5.5″ 720p Super AMOLED display, 8 megapixel rear shooter, 1.9 megapixel front camera, 16GB storage, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 3100 mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. And of course, the S Pen comes along as well.
