Verizon Wireless is one of the best carriers when it comes to software updates, be it for budget or high-end phones, new and old equally.

As of this writing, for instance, the Big Red has new updates for the 2017 Moto Z2 Force, the budget LG Zone 4, and the soon-to-be-replaced LG G7 ThinQ. While the former two are receiving this month’s Android security patches, the latter is on last month’s version, which is a little strange considering its flagship status, especially compared to the Zone 4.

The Moto Z2 Force update has software version ODXS27.109-34-17-3-3 and started rolling out yesterday. Those using the LG Zone 4 should watch out for an update with software version X210VPP12b while the LG G7 is receiving version G710VM10h.

All three updates are available over the air and usually, airborne rollouts may take several days before all units get the download notification.

As you wait up, it’s also possible to trigger the update via the devices Software update option in the Settings menu.
