Verizon Wireless is your cheapest way to join the growing 5G community all thanks to Motorola Moto Z4 and the 5G Moto Mod. The latter is limited to Verizon and today, the carrier is rolling out a software update targeting to improve performance of the Moto Z4 when the mod is in use.
Verizon says the new software update improves the stability of the Moto Z4 when the 5G Moto Mod is connected. It doesn’t mention any specifics, though.
The update, which is arriving as version PDF29.105-25-11, also installs a new May 2019 security patch, which isn’t the latest version available.
The release notes went live today, meaning the OTA is also live. But as usual, it will take a few days before all Moto Z4 units on Verizon receive the download notification.
