The Verizon LG Stylo 2 is currently receiving a new software update as we speak. It’s only a minor security update, but it is an important one.
The update is seeded over-the-air, as is the case with most security updates, and fixes bugs and patches vulnerabilities. The software version for the update is VS83520f, and it is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It installs the November Android security patch on the device, and patches the KRACK Wi-Fi bug.
Android Oreo update release date
That’s about all the security improvements that you’ll see in this update. Apart from that, there are under the hood bug fixes that will improve the performance a little. Verizon has been delivering updates to most of the devices under its arsenal.
We have a list of the best android phones that are currently available at Verizon USA, do check it out. The new LG V30 and V30+ are a part of the list, and these devices are currently getting a taste of Android Oreo in the form of a beta. The company also just launched a special Signature Edition of the V30 in South Korea.
