We just found out yesterday that what we knew earlier as the Verizon HTC DLX/Deluxe is internally called the Verizon HTC Droid DNA. While the device has been known under various names so far, like the Droid Incredible X, Deluxe, DLX, and more recently the HTC DROID DNA,  there is no solid confirmation yet on what the device will eventually be known as. For now, let’s just go with HTC Droid DNA.

A leaked render of what is supposedly the HTC Droid DNA has surfaced on Twitter via user @Football. Unfortunately, there is no additional information, over what has already been discussed earlier, to go with it. From what we do know, or rather, think we know, the rumored/currently known specs, talk of a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor coupled with 2 GB RAM, a 5-inch 1080p display, 16GB internal storage, an 8 MP main camera, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

With specs like those, we don’t really care what HTC or Verizon baptizes the phone as, so long as they come out with a definite release date, and attractive pricing for this absolute beast of a device.
