Verizon Galaxy Note Edge receives February security patch update, build N915VVRS2CQB2

Verizon is rolling out a new software update to Galaxy Note Edge devices. The update installs the latest February security patch and is on the roll out as we speak.

The build number for the latest update is N915VVRS2CQB2 and it is Android Marshmallow based. It installs the most up to date Android security patch on your Galaxy Note Edge device and also optimizes device performance and resolves known issues.

The update being rolled out over the air (OTA) should hit your devices anytime soon. In case, you are too impatient to wait for it, you can check for it manually by heading over to Settings » About device » System Updates. However, before hitting the download button, ensure that your device is over 50 percent charged and connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Meanwhile, Verizon is also pushing out the February security patch update to Galaxy S5 which arrives as build number G900VVRS2DQB2.
