Verizon Galaxy Note 5 has started receiving a new firmware update. The update arrives as software version N920VVRS3BQA1.

Rolling out with the latest January security patch, the Galaxy Note 5 firmware update is over the air and should hit your devices anytime soon.

In case you were already hoping for Android 7.0 Nougat for your Note 5 handset, you are gonna be disappointed as the update is still based on Marshmallow.

However, we hope the Nougat build for Note 5 will be released soon.
