The HTC One X+ has got a lot of people excited and waiting in anticipation thanks to its great specs, and it recently went up for pre-order in the UK from retailer Clove, for a price of £474. If you live in the United States, you can also now pre-order the unlocked HTC One X+ from Expansys USA, though it won’t support any LTE or CDMA networks.
The HTC One X+ runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, sports a fast 1.7GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 64GB of storage, and a 2100 mAh battery, making it a great upgrade over the original One X as well as over any older device. Other specs of the One X+ include a 4.7-inch Super LCD2 display, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, and a 1.6MP front camera.
The price of the One X+ hasn’t yet been announced by Expansys, so there’s no telling what the final price will be (though you won’t need to pay anything if you don’t want to). Of course, without support for LTE, it would be better to wait for the US carriers to start offering the device with support for their LTE networks anyway, as well as to be able to get the One X+ on a contract and save some big bucks in upfront payment. The One X+ will also feature both a quad-core processor and LTE support unlike the One X, so it’s really just better to pass up on this.
