Reports have emerged that if talks between UMi and Flipkart go as smooth as they are going on right now, Indians would soon be able to register for a flash sale of UMi Zero, a 2014 flagship device of the company. UMi Zero release in India could happen as soon as over the next month, or March.
Like many other OEMs, including Xiaomi and OnePlus, UMi is looking to make some money off the lucrative Indian market where smartphone sales are burgeoning. Xiaomi has eve planned to setup an R&D centre in India, while also looking to speed up its releases in India.
UMi Zero is an incredible phone, btw, both in looks and hardware.
Let’s talk UMi Zero Specifications. UMi Zero features an incredible 5.0 Full HF Super AMOLED display like the Galaxy S5, a 2.0GHz octa-core processor with MALI 450 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. Talking about the cameras, there is a 13MP Sony sensor at the rear with impressive aperture of f/1.8 which should result in improved blur and focus in pictures. On the front, you’d find a 8MP camera, more than capable of grabbing beautiful selfies.
The battery of UMi Zero is a very impressive one at 2780mAh, and all this package is packed in a body that measures just 6.4mm in thickness, and weighs 145 grams only.
We’d surely want to buy it if it lands on India soil, what do you think? It would surely give touch competition to the likes of Xiaomi Mi4 and OnePlus One, no?
