The second tablet from Toshiba is set to hit the Australian-coast later this month. The tablet, called the Thrive 7-inch is a smaller version of its older brother — 10-inch Thrive — and is priced at 450 Australian dollars. Thrive is small, compact & slimmer than its older version and with all that, it still packs the same hardware.
Inside the 12mm body, you’ll find a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, Android 3.2 OS and NVIDIA GeForce graphics for console quality gaming.. The Thrive also has a 1GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal memory, it has a 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Stereo speakers with SRS Labs technology. In case if the memory is not enough there is also a microSD slot with upto 32GB memory support, a micro-HDMI port for streaming your content on a larger HD monitor and a micro-USB for easy connectivity to your desktop.
The Toshiba Thrive will hit US in December (will have to wait) and price could be expected somewhere between $400-$500.
