If you’re a kind of person who’d drop jaw upon seeing a crisp and clear display, then it’s time you do a little ‘happy dance’ of yours as we’ve got a word of an Android tablet having a display resolution of 2048×1536 (264ppi), which is similar to that of iPad 3’s retina display.

This mighty ‘resolutionary’ Android tablet comes from the Chinese manufacturer, Cube, who’s known for its tablet PCs in China and in other parts of world as well.

Along with a retina display, the Cube U9GT5 also packs a Rockchip RK3066 chipset and a dual-core Cortex A9 CPU with quad-core Mali 400 MP graphics. The tablet is expected to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box with Bluetooth and a rear camera with flash.

Sure we all want to get our hands on this 264 ppi packing Android 4.1 tablet but the launch date for Cube U9GT5 hasn’t been specified yet. However the rumor has it that it’ll be priced at $200 only — almost half the price of iPad 3. Sweet deal!
