Textra, the highly customizable Android messaging app, has got a new update that brings about several changes and improvements. This update is for the beta version of the app, so if you haven’t signed up to receive beta updates, then you won’t be getting this update.
If you’re a user of the Textra beta app, then you will soon receive the version 3.34 update. It is currently rolling out to the beta users. It includes a new Pure Black color option for text bubbles and throughout the app.
A new option to customize notifications during a phone call has been added, which can be found at Settings > Customize Notifications > During Phone Call, within the app. The beta update also allows users to send empty messages.
Finally, the Textra app will now work with several Bluetooth infotainment systems in cars. Apart from these main changes, the app also includes bug fixes to make messaging faster and better.
