Australian carrier Telstra has announced that their HTC 10 sets are in for the Nougat treat, finally! The Android 7.0 update for the HTC 10 users at the carrier should start seeing a notification for the OTA update starting today.
As the rollout is gradual, we expect Telstra to finish the rollout in next few weeks, and if you don’t see an OTA alert right away, do wait for it patiently. With the Nougat update, you get some nice features like split-screen mode, revamped Settings app, much better notification shade, etc.
On Android 7.0, you also get Direct reply feature, one that allows you to reply to messages direct from the notification bar without opening the app.

That apart, one you have Android 7.0 installed on your HTC 10, your device will be home to these features also:
- Quickly switching to previous app by tapping two times on Recents key
- Data saver
- Doze on the Go
- Notification controls (hold on the notification, and you can disable them from that app right away there)
- Custom quick settings and its bar in notification shade
Be sure to charge your phone above 50%, and have WiFi network available, because this would larger than usual download with more than usual installation time required.
