Anyone who has even a wee bit of intelligence could tell that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 beats the original Galaxy Note in everything hands down (unless you count the ease of handling where the original is better due to its smaller size), but T-Mobile is currently selling the Galaxy Note 2 at $50 cheaper than the original, despite its awesome-r specs.

That’s right, T-Mobile is selling the Note 2 at $199.99 right now on a 2-year contract, while the Note is priced at $249. However, this isn’t something permanent, but is simply a two day offer for folks to get the Note 2 at a discount when they buy through T-Mobile’s website, and the price will go up to $369 from Sunday (according to a commentor over at TmoNews).

It’s a great offer for a great smartphone, getting you a 5.5-inch 720p Super AMOLED display that can be used with the S Pen stylus, 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 2GB RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB internal storage and microSD slot, every connectivity option you can think of including NFC and 4G LTE, 3100 mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Of course, you’re free to buy the original Galaxy Note as well, but hey, don’t blame us when your friends can’t stop laughing over your decision as you show them your new, yet not so new phablet.
