Another Samsung device is getting an update thanks to T-Mobile. The Galaxy Tab S2 2016 variant is receiving a security update right now. The carrier released an update for the Galaxy Note 8 earlier today as well.
The update build number is T818TUVU1BQJ3, and although it’s been available for some time, it is just rolling out for most users. T-Mobile has included a newer Android security patch in this update. If you were wondering, this update is still based on Android 7.0 Nougat, and we believe that the Tab S2 will never officially taste Oreo.

We recommend you install this update right away. If you haven’t received the update yet, you can manually check for it by heading to Settings > About Phone > Software updates. Also, if you’re interested in purchasing the Galaxy Tab S2, there’s an amazing deal going on at Costco (members only).
