American telecommunications giant T-Mobile has started rolling out the latest version of Android for LG G7 ThinQ.
The 2018 LG flagship owners have been waiting patiently for T-Mobile to roll out the Android Pie update. And now, only weeks before Android Q’s grand unveiling, they finally have gotten their wish fulfilled.
The over-the-air (OTA) update weighs in around 1.5GB and is expected to bring general improvements and bug fixes. The security patch, however, has only been updated to May 2019 and not July. Features like Part Slo-mo and Dual App support could be in the mix, but the company is yet to release an official changelog for the update.
As the update is incremental, it could be a week or two before your device gets to run the Android Pie. So, if the wait gets too unbearable for you, try heading over to the Update Center in Settings and looking for the update.
