By now, it’s no secret that the LG Optimus L9 would be hitting T-Mobile store shelves. The only confirmation we needed from T-Mobile was the exact date, and of course, the pricing. Earlier today TMO is said to have confirmed the availability of the LG Optimus L9 in their stores, as well as online, starting October 31st.

You should be able to score one for $79.99 on a standard 2 year service contract, after a $50 mail-in rebate. You can also get it on their Equipment Installment Plan for $50 upfront, and 20 equal payments of $15/month thereafter. We wonder if Walmart is still offering these at $0.97 with the 2 year contract. Now that would be a bummer, wouldn’t it?

The T-Mobile LG Optimus L9 is a mid-range offering, with pretty respectable specs for that price point, notable ones being:

  • 4.5-inch qHD 540 x 960 resolution display
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • 1 GHz dual-core processor / 1 GB of RAM
  • 5 MP Rear Camera with 1080p video recording / VGA Front Camera
  • 4 GB Internal Storage / expandable microSD slot
  • 2,150 mAh battery
  • 4G LTE capable

The Optimus L9 is an impressive mid-range device with top of the line specs, and is indeed very good value for that price. We can see this becoming another hot seller for T-Mobile in the months to come. Would you be getting one?
