T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 is now receiving the much needed patch for the Stagefright security bug on Android which was only recently discovered, and for which Google is aggressively pushing out Over-The-Air updates to address the issue as soon as possible.
Stagefright vulnerability has the potential to let a hacker take over your device’s data, even camera and microphone, by simply sending you a MMS that you may not even notice. This is a huge security flaw that has put millions of Android devices at risk out there.
The T-Mobile Note 4 Stagefright fix is already on the roll as we speak, with build number N910TUVU1COG2. If you haven’t received the update notification yet on your device, be sure to check for it manually from Settings > About phone > Device manager.
